My Story

Growing up in a government-subsidized townhouse with a single mom and three sisters, confidence never came naturally to me.

On paper, I was a smart kid with potential.

But internally, I often felt like I wasn’t good enough.

I was afraid to take chances — not because I didn’t think I could succeed, but because I was terrified to fail.

Like many families, mine was doing the best it could while carrying struggles of its own. As a kid, that instability quietly shapes the way you see yourself.

I grew up watching other people succeed and wondering what separated them from me.

Eventually, I realized something powerful:

A lot of the people winning in life weren’t necessarily smarter, more talented, or more deserving than I was.

They just believed in themselves.

And confidence changes everything.

It’s the difference between speaking up or staying quiet.
Taking opportunities — or watching someone else take them.
Going after the life you want — or convincing yourself you don’t deserve it.

Fitness changed that for me.

When I started lifting weights in Grade 10, something shifted.

For the first time in my life, I began consistently keeping promises to myself.

Every workout completed.
Every hard session finished.
Every disciplined day when nobody was watching.

Over time, that built self-respect.

And that self-respect turned into confidence.

Fitness didn’t just change my physique.

It changed the way I moved through life.

I became willing to take chances.
I built the confidence to approach people instead of hiding in the background.
I played varsity rugby.
I stopped fearing rejection.
I built meaningful friendships and relationships.
I pursued opportunities that once intimidated me.
I applied for high-earning jobs I once felt unqualified for — and earned them.
I stepped on bodybuilding stages and won shows I never thought I belonged in.

Most importantly, I learned that real confidence isn’t something you’re born with.

It’s built.

That’s why I believe transforming your physique is about so much more than aesthetics.

Yes, you’ll build muscle.
Yes, you’ll lose fat.
Yes, you’ll look better.

But the real transformation is the person you become in the process.

Because when you consistently keep your word to yourself, you build something far more valuable than a physique:

You build confidence.

And confidence changes every part of your life.

My coaching philosophy isn’t about perfection.

It’s about building sustainable habits, discipline, momentum, and self-belief.

One day at a time

The best coach isn’t someone who’s always had it easy.

It’s someone who understands the struggle firsthand because they’ve lived it themselves

I know how hard it can feel to be stuck, insecure, overwhelmed, or behind in life.

And I also know how powerful it feels when you finally become the person you once wished you could be.

Confidence isn’t something you’re born with.

It’s built.
